Denise Mangiardi's long awaited album "On the Brink", features 7 vocal ballads with strings written and arranged by Denise.  It also includes the two beautiful ballads, "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" and "Ev'ry Time we say Goodby".

The project was recorded in New Orleans with a star cast of musicians from the New Orleans area. Including the world renown drummer, Johnny Vidacovitch , bassist Chris Severin, pianist, Michael Pellera and Tony DaGradi on Sax. It was recorded with 34 strings featuring  players from the Louisiana Symphonic Orchestra. It was conducted by Jay Weigal and recorded at Esplanade Studios with Misha Kachkachishvili

Special guest stars include Cindy Scott on Alto flute and Emily Mikesell on Flugal Horn. Special guest from London includes the amazing Italian guitarist, Luca Boscagin who is featured on her new Single Release of "Portrait of a Lady" due to be released in July and on her title track, "On the Brink".  London bassist Jon Thorne is also featured on "On the Brink".

Composer, Arthur Brouns from Belgium, has contributed a wonderful arrangement of electronics on the track "Portrait of a Lady".
